I lost lakhs working in Concentrix. Elaborate plan by my manager to make me lose money

In a couple of months after joining Concentrix, I thought of buying a bike for traveling to work. But I already had a car (Mahindra Scorpio) in Tamilnadu which wasn't being used by anyone at home.

So, I was in a dilemma if I should buy a bike (a used one probably) or if I should bring my car to Mumbai.

The problem with bringing the car to Mumbai was that I don't have safe parking in the flat I reside.

So I thought of checking in office if parking was available for employees and then decide accordingly. Company policy states parking will be provided based on availability and there's no guarantee that everyone would get it.

I spoke with my manager and explained clearly about all this and checked if I can get a car parking spot. My manager said, I will get a parking spot and he will get it done.

My manager was clearly informed that,

1. There's no safe parking spot in my residence.
2. I have the other option of buying a bike

I reconfirmed with my manager multiple times and was assured that I will get parking in office. My colleagues are aware about this as well.

After getting multiple assurances from my manager, I took a days leave from work (informed my manager that I'm going to Tamilnadu to bring my car) and brought my car to Mumbai.

Since it was a 1500Km drive, I had to spend money on service, insurance, fuel, toll, etc. (It was expensive than buying a used bike)

After I brought the car to Mumbai, my manager kept delaying my parking request. I wasn't sure why.

During this time I had to park my car in the road opposite my office and it was always hard to find an empty parking spot nearby. So, mostly I had to park in any available spot and walk back to office. Since the road gets empty after midnight, it's risky to keep the car parked away from office and I had to keep checking if there's an empty parking space near office and if there was one, I had to take my meal break to walk to my car and parking it safely. This happened for a couple of weeks and I'm sure you could understand what I was going through.

Once when I took a break to move my car to a safe spot, my manager asked for the keys and said he would do it. I denied saying I don't give my car to others. Didn't know this would end up costing me money.

During this time, the right ORVM of my car was broken while it was parked in front of office which kind of upset me as it wouldn't have happened if I had got the parking space as I promised.

When I informed this damage to my manager and asked for a parking space, he denied stating parking is for managers only.

It took a while for me to understand that the parking request was rejected because I didn't give my car to my manager when he asked.

Since I had to park outside that too during monsoon, following were the damages to my car :

1. Front windshield broken
2. Excessive rust
3. Water leakage inside car resulting in damages to internal components and wiring
4. Multiple wiring damages by rats, etc 

I have spent over a lakh on my car just because I didn't give my car to my manager when he asked.

How toxic can a company be.?

After waiting for months trying to resolve this peacefully, I started my public awareness campaign in front of Concentrix today on 7th June, 2024 I should say the response by fellow employees was very good and some even cam up and offered their support. CNX threatens me for speaking the truth

Hello all, After enduring discrimination and harassment during my employment with Concentrix, I decided to voice out against such illegal and inhuman practices of Concentrix. But the company with their usual arrogance have sent a legal notice threatening to file criminal and civil complaints against me. I have let them know that all my actions are covered under freedom of speech and trademark laws. Copy of the legal notice that Concentrix sent me. Companies such as this think they can use scare tactics against anyone who voices against their illegal practices. They should understand that freedom of speech and expression is the first and foremost fundamental right provided by the constitution and that not everyone can be intimidated. Some know their rights. Indefinite dharna started 25-June, 2024

Hello readers, Thanks for visiting and taking the time to read this blog. I staged a 1 day demonstration in front of Concentrix, Thane on 7th June. Concentrix contacted the local police for help. Both parties were called to the police station where people from Concentrix asked for 20 days time to resolve this peacefully. They actually said Mr. Sarang Phatak wants to discuss with me and he was traveling now and would come to Mumbai by 20th June. I had informed them that I would be wlling to wait for 5 days and not more than that. But I decided to wait for 20 days as they had asked for hoping to resolve this amicably. Yet again, Concentrix showed that they are the same old arrogant people and don't want a peaceful resolution. So, here I am.  Started an indefinite demonstration in front of their office.
